Blue Moon have been busy being part of many happy and enjoyable Wedding Days.

We work hard with couples to plan the details that make a wedding day special, so if you are making plans for your big day it's never to early to start a discussion and we'l be pleased to hear from you.  Many couples find it helpful to visit a rehearsal and we'll be pleased to arrange that.  

Blue Moon return to Bath City Centre 25 May 2009

Blue Moon returned to Bath City Centre on a busy Spring Bank Holiday to entertain a large crown in Parade Gardens.

Blue Moon made their first Bath outdoor appearance of 2009 over the May Bank Holiday weekend.  The Band will return for several more appearances during the Summer - see the Performances page for details.

Are Blue Moon undertaking a 'Stadium Tour' in 2009?  20 March 2009

Well not quite.  But the Band did play at the Annual Dinner for the Insurance Institute of Reading, so maybe this is the start of something?  Eddie and Frank played in the Sponsors' Bar ahead of the Dinner and then the full Band played to entertain the guests during the Dinner itself.

This event was typical of the sort of function where Blue Moon can add to the anbience of a function and help make it a real 'event'.

Blue Moon featured on Swindon 105.5 (Wiltshire) between 3 and 4pm, with the programme also available on the Internet.at http://www.swindon1055.com/.

Premiere of a new song composed by Eddie our Saxophonist   Saturday 20 September 2008

Blue Moon performed for a wedding in Lynmouth, Devon, including the first public performance of a song composed by our saxophonist, Eddie Woodgate called 'When love calls in September'.  You can listen to this song on our Recordings page.

Our singer Suzy sung it during the church service at St Mary's Lynton, and in the evening it was the first song Helen and Craig danced to as a newly married couple - congratulations Helen and Craig!
